Burj Khalifa Dubai: Observation Decks, Tickets & Insider Tips
The Burj Khalifa is the world's tallest building at 828 metres — a 163-floor glass-and-steel spire that has defined Dubai's skyline and ambition since its 2010 opening, and whose observation decks offer the most extreme urban panoramas on earth. At the Top (Level 124 and 125, 555 metres) is the most popular visit; At the Top SKY (Level 148, 555 metres) is the world's highest observation deck for public access and includes a VIP experience with sky bridges and a glass floor section. Both levels feature interactive telescopes, wind-speed information, and views that on clear days extend to the Hajar Mountains in Oman. Tickets must be booked online — same-day tickets at the base cost significantly more and often aren't available. The "Prime" (sunset) and "Prime with afterglow" slots sell out weeks ahead. The Dubai Fountain show at the base, choreographed to classical and contemporary music, performs every 30 minutes from 6pm and is free to watch from the Burj Park island or from the base-level boardwalk. The Armani Hotel, Nobu, and Atmosphere (122nd floor restaurant) are within the tower.
